Red Lights at Barrack Street
There’s something about this photo that I like but can’t really put a finger on why. Maybe it’s the motion of the bus that zooms through the centre of the intersection. Maybe it’s the soft glow of the street lights or maybe it’s the three men at the corner block that adds scale to this photo. There is also a sense of calmness in here, maybe that’s why.

Trees and You

First to blossom
Usually I don’t go to the bush reserve next to the oval down the road because its woody, prickly and full of spiders (ok, I’m being very dramatic). But I went today, and after yesterday’s rain, there was an abundance of floral buds from the native plants waiting to bloom. This was one of the first few that has. Will pay another visit in a couple of days to see what else has blossomed.
